JB Advanced Engineering Limited (“JBAEL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides engineering services, equipment and spares for the power generation industry. This policy applies to our website, company-resource access and business or recruitment correspondence with us. Separate contractual confidentiality or data-protection terms may also apply to a particular engagement.

1. Information you provide

Our contact, quotation, resource-access and careers forms may ask you to enter your name, email address, telephone number, company, project location, professional details, service requirements or employment interests. Some fields are required for the action you select. Supporting documents or a résumé may also be selected.

Website form entries, verification answers and selected-file checks are processed within your browser. These forms do not transmit the entered information or selected files to JBAEL. Selecting a file does not upload it. For business enquiries, quotations or applications you wish to communicate directly, please use the email or telephone details on our Contact Us page.

When you email, call or otherwise communicate directly with JBAEL, the information you choose to share becomes part of that correspondence. Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identity documents, health information or another person’s information unless necessary and you are authorised to share it.

2. How information is used

Information received through direct correspondence may be used to understand and respond to your enquiry, discuss technical requirements, prepare or administer quotations and services, manage supplier or customer relationships, and consider employment enquiries. Relevant correspondence may also be used to maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.

Providing contact details for an enquiry or resource request is not a subscription to a marketing mailing list. You can ask us to stop optional promotional correspondence using the contact details below. Necessary responses concerning an existing request or contractual matter may still be required.

3. Cookies, browser storage and verification

The website does not set advertising or analytics cookies or include advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts, images and downloadable company documents are served as website assets. Browser storage is used for the resource-access feature as described below.

You can clear website storage or manage cookies and autofill in your browser settings. Clearing session storage may cause the resource form to appear again. If storage is unavailable, resource access is remembered only while the current page remains open. Browser-stored access does not create an account or make company documents confidential.

4. Technical information and website delivery

When you request a page, image or document, the hosting and network infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver the website and support security or troubleshooting. This is separate from the personal information entered in forms. Infrastructure logging and its retention depend on the services operating the website.

5. Sharing and disclosure

JBAEL does not sell or rent personal information provided for business or recruitment correspondence. Information received by us may be shared with relevant personnel and, where needed, service providers supporting communications, business administration or an engagement. Disclosure should be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose and subject to appropriate confidentiality or contractual obligations.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, a valid legal process or an authorised public authority, or where reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights or address fraud and security concerns.

6. Retention

Local website-form entries are not stored in a JBAEL form-submission database. Their browser lifetime is explained above. For information actually received through direct correspondence, retention depends on the nature of the enquiry or engagement, the need for follow-up, contractual and legal record-keeping requirements, and any unresolved disputes. You may contact us to request deletion of information we hold; legal or legitimate record-keeping requirements may limit what can be removed.

7. Security and confidentiality

We aim to handle personal information responsibly and limit its use and disclosure to appropriate business purposes. No website, email system or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. Please use an agreed secure communication method for confidential drawings, commercially sensitive information or documents that require special protection. Never share account credentials through an enquiry.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to provide optional information, clear information held by your browser, or contact us about information you have sent directly to JBAEL. Depending on applicable law, you may also request information about our handling of your data, access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or raise a privacy concern.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority before disclosing or changing records. Requests will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and relevant record-keeping obligations. Where applicable, you may raise unresolved concerns with a competent regulatory authority.

9. External websites and communication services

Our website may link to social networks and other third-party websites. Email and telephone links open the communication application you choose. Those sites and applications operate under their own privacy terms; this policy does not govern their independent handling of information. Review their policies before sharing personal information. A link does not mean JBAEL controls that service.

10. Visitors outside India

JBAEL is based in India. If you communicate with us from another country, your correspondence may be accessed or handled in India. Where external hosting or communication services are involved, handling may also occur in the locations used by those services. Any applicable transfer requirements depend on the information, service and jurisdiction concerned.

11. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for business and professional audiences, not for children. We do not request children’s information for resource access or business enquiries. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
